Rennbericht von Dieter Schmid – Am 09. und 10. September 2017 fand die 6. Schweizer Nationalmeisterschaft auf der Strecke in Dielsdorf / Schweiz statt. Eine der letzten Strecken mit technischen Abschnitten und vielen Auf- und Abpassagen.
Wegen des schlechten Wetters (starker Regen den ganzen Tag) war es nicht möglich, am Samstag zu fahren, so dass die Rennleitung beschlossen hat, alle Läufe am Sonntag zu fahren. Nach einigen Regentropfen am frühen Morgen hörte der Regen auf, so dass der örtliche Verein (EOCD) die Strecke innerhalb einer Stunde trocknen konnte.

In der 2WD-Klasse gelang es Nico Schmid mit dem schnellsten Lauf in jedem Qualifikationslauf vor seinem Bruder Florian und Patrick Hofer auf Platz 3.

Wie in 2WD hat Nico Schmid alle drei Qualifikationsläufe in 4WD als Erster beendet. Patrick Hofer erreichte den 2., Philip Jeisy den 3. Platz vor Florian Schmid auf Position 4.

Philip Jeisy erreichte den TQ in der Stadium Truck Klasse.

In 2WD schaffte mit drei Finalsiegen Patrick Hofer den Sieg. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Patrick, der somit 2WD Schweizer Champion 2017 ist!
Peter Forster (2.) und Adrian Müller (3.) vervollständigten das Podium. Florian Schmid am 4. und Nico Schmid am 6. Platz zeigten einige solide Läufe im A-Finale.

In 4WD gewann Patrick Hofer den ersten, Nico Schmid, den zweiten A-Finallauf, also mussten wir auf die endgültige Entscheidung im dritten Finale abwarten. Nach einem engen Rennen konnte Nico das Finale mit nur einer  halbe Sekunde vor Patrick Hofer gewinnen. Fabian Luca Widmer im 3. Platz beendet das Podium mit einigen großartigen letzten Läufen aus der 9. Startposition. Florian Schmid erreichte den 4. und Philip Jeisy den 5. Platz.
Die entgültige Entscheidung in der Klasse 4WD zur Schweiter Meisterschaft zwischen Nico Schmid vs. Patrick Hofer fällt erst im letzten Rennen Pfäffikon.

In der Stadion-Truck-Klasse erreichte Philip Jeisy im 6-Rennen wieder das Podium. Er ist damit vorzeitig neuer Schweizer Champion 2017!

Wir sehen uns bei der letzten Meisterschaft in Pfäffikon, dem einzigen Indoor-Schotterweg in der Schweiz!

On 09. and 10. September 2017, the 6th Swiss National round took place at the dirt track in Dielsdorf Switzerland. One of the last dirt tracks with technical sections and lots of up and down sections.

Because of the bad weather conditions (heavy rain all day long) it wasn’t possible to drive on Saturday so the jury decided to do all runs on Sunday. After some raindrops in the early morning the rain stopped so the local club (EOCD) could dry the track within an hour.

In the 2WD class, Nico Schmid managed to TQ with the fastest run in every qualification run in front of his brother Florian and Patrick Hofer in 3th position.

As in 2WD Nico Schmid managed to TQ all three qualification runs in 4WD. Patrick Hofer reached the 2nd, Philip Jeisy the 3rd place in front of Florian Schmid in position 4.

Philip Jeisy reached the TQ in the stadium truck class.

In 2WD Patrick Hofer could show a great final performance with the win in all three finals. Congratulations to Patrick who is the 2WD Swiss Champion 2017!

Peter Forster (2nd) and Adrian Müller (3rd) completed the podium with solid runs on their home track. Florian Schmid on 4th and Nico Schmid on 6th place showed some solid runs in the A-main.

In 4WD Patrick Hofer won the first, Nico Schmid the second A-main run so we had to wait for the final decision in round 3. After a close race Nico could win the final just a half of a second in front of Patrick Hofer after the 7 minutes run. Fabian Luca Widmer in 3rd completed the podium with some great final runs from the 9th starting position. Florian Schmid reached the 4th and Philip Jeisy the 5th position.

We have to wait for the final decision (Nico Schmid vs. Patrick Hofer) at the last round in Pfäffikon where the Swiss Champion 2017 will be crowned.

In the stadium truck class, Philip Jeisy completed the 6 race in a row on the top of the podium so he is the new Swiss Champion 2017!

See you at the last championship round in Pfäffikon, the only indoor dirt track in Switzerland!
