How long do you drive RC-Cars? 15 years

How did you get into the hobby? Seen some drift action with rc cars ans wanted to try it. My first car was bought by my wife (at that time my girlfriend)

How do you prepare for a race? I’m checking my car if everything is good and try to rebuild it when I got time. If I don’t know the track I’m asking for some opinions from my team mates and setup suggestions

Which cars do you have? At the moment I got: T4, X1, X12, T4F, RX8E, XT2, M18PRO and many more old Xray cars

Which class do you like? F1 was my favorite class always, but atm I’m enjoying 1/12 in winter and 1/8 electric on asphalt

Favorit track: Hudy Arena

What is the attraction of RC Car Sport for you? I’m enjoying the time spend on the track, with other drivers and always happy if I can help anyone.

Which event would you like to attend? Hard to say, every race, no mather if it is a club race or world championchip. I just enjoy the time spend on the track and with people.

Like on the WC 1/10 offroad at Hudy Arena where I was on technical inspection I enjoyed it more then racing as I could talk with many people from around the world, meet new friends, Finally talk with some people I been writing with on FB or even help out.

Due to the corona virus, there were very few events. How did you use the time? Do you use racing games, for example VRC?

In Poland we been racing last year with restrictions, on the beginning of this year we could not race till now. So I spend the time on making some projects that I wanted to do and work a bit on my shop.

I’m not a fan of VRC as I don’t like the feeling of the simulation, spended on it like 3-5h in winter

At the weekend, it’s not a race. What are you doing ? I’m spending it with my familly

You have been active in the racing scene for a few years now. Which event do you like to remember? For me the best moment (wasn’t a race event) that I will remember always is when I my work on Xray Set-up Helper was recognized by Martin Hudy – at XRS Slovakia he gave me a new T4 and X1 as thank you for what you are doing.

From that moment my cooperation with Xray started and we did many great projects together and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

You returned to Poland two years ago. Then you founded Milansport and launched your first products on the market. Now a new phase of life began for you. You turned your hobby into a job. How did this step come about?

Yes, I came back to Poland on the start of 2020 and started again to race in my country. I found the big problem that on races there is no shop or support with rc parts. Decided to take that step and started to have some basic stuff with my on races to support drivers. It was a complicated move as the 2020 was crazy with covid-19 and so on. It started to get more intensive and I started to do it more serious. Opened my web shop, started with my own racing series and in 2021 I decided to try and make a living out of it. Created my own brand with some accessories that are missing on the market.

I was also happening that I can make my hobby into my daily work and work from home where time with my kids is importand for me as I was in Germany for many years.

The other reason was that with shop and rc as daily job I can find more free time to work on the Xray  Set-up Helpers. I didn’t create any helpers for the past 15 months and I getting messages that people are waiting for any update. I’m also missing this as the set-up helpers is my creation, I’m the first one who did something like this and I’m still the only one. But most important it was a great way to help all RC drivers around the world and see that they are improving thanks to this.

What are you planning for the next months? What new parts will there be from you?

I have a lot of idea and not enough time J There are some idea for more accosiers but will need to see how it will work out with the shop and my incomes from it.

What is the Milansport Xray Race?

In Poland we been missing a racing series with a high level racing with spec rules and technical control. So I decided to make it and show how a race should look like, give a new standard. Something like a little ETS.

With help from Xray the Milansport Xray Race started. In the covid-19 time I was amaze that we manage to have some drivers from other countries like Czech and Germany.

MXR was only a start as I got many ideas for races, but as I mentioned I don’t have enough time.

Thanks for the interview. Good luck!
