Schnell reagiert hat Serpent bei den Querlenkern für ihren akuellen 1/8 Buggy. Ganz in Sinne der Kunden und um den eigen Qualitätsansprüchen gerecht zu werden, gibt es einem kostenlosen Umtausch der querlenker für den Cobra SRX8 Buggy. Diese Teile wurden unter der selben Teilenummer ins Programm aufgenommen. Alles wird 1:1 getauscht und der Kunde erhält nur noch die neue Teile. Bereits ab Mitte Juli 2016 sollten die Käufer des SRX8 die Austauschteile von ihrem Händler erhalten können.
Die Querlenker sind nun haltbarer und bieten aus größere „Flex“-Bereich durch das aufschrauben von verschiedenen Platten.

Die Querlenkern sind an die Anforderungen und Belastungen angepasst wurden und aus einem weicheren Material, welches mehr „Flex“ hat. Versteift können der Querlenker durch z.B. Kohlefaserplatten werden.

Serpent is offering a free replacement program on the wishbones of the Cobra SRX8 buggy.

Especially the front arms broke under severe impact, but for our quality standards too quick. To warranty our high quality image we decided to do a full replacement program.

Front and rear wisbones
The wishbones are beefed up in some locations and they are now made in a softer material which has more flex than before, to create more overall grip. By using the moulded or carbon inserts, top and or bottom, the arm can be made stiffer as needed.
Same time we also changed the position of the set screw that keeps the spring-steel shock-bolt in positon. Its been moved more to the inside of the arm. For this new shock-bolts are made with the groove closer to the end instead of at the front.
Serpent will ship the replacement arms and shock-bolts to all distributors, and they will distribute the parts to the drivers, through the dealers . The new parts will not be shipped to you by seperate mail, but can be included in a new order you place.
As we do a full exchange program, the partnumbers remain the same as before.
Shipping of new arms to distributors will commence 28th of june, so before mid july all drivers should be able to receive new wishbones .
