Hot Race Trophy took the place in Rome at Gianni Modellismo track last weekend. It was both Electric and Nitro race. Electric drivers were divided in the usual classes: 13.5 No Timing and Modified. Race was only on Sunday with 3 qualifications, counting only the fastest run.

Qualifications:

13.5 No timing:

In this Class the fight was between Valter Cola and Flavio Buzi but at the end was Valter to be TQ in front of Flavio and Djalma Bochicchio.

In Modified class I took Pole position in front of Nicola Marrone and Simone D’Ottavio.

Finals:

13.5 No Timing:

In this Class Valter Cola confirmed his leadership winning all finals fighting closely with Flavio Buzi while Bochicchio was 3rd. Antonio Cassarino arrived 4th improving his qualifying result.

Modified:

I won the First Final after a fight with Marrone. Second final gave me the overall victory after a mistake of Marrone in the first laps. At the end was Alessandro Inchiostro to complete the podium thanks to a clean driving with no mistakes. Simone D’Ottavio was fast also in the finals but, due to many mistakes and some bud luck in crashes with other drivers, arrived only 6th. Enrico Avoni was able to arrive 5th starting 8th, good job Principe!

Nitro:

After qualifying season I set the new track record and got the 2nd place on the grid (I finished only a manche of 3 because in the first I flamed out and in the third I make a mistake).

Car was impressive and sharply superior compared to the others.

In the final I was always the fastest on the track with a impressive pitch, car was absolute easy and safe to drive and allow me to recover the big gap I had after the first lap because a driver hit me.

In the last minutes I lead the race but I had to refuel one more time respect the others, so I finished 2nd.
