Zwei neue Stoßdämpfer für Zero Rebound gibt es von Xray für die XB8-Serie. „Null-Rückprall-Stoßdämpfer“ können so eingestellt werden, dass sie weniger Rebound (bedeutet, dass die Kolbenstange nach dem „Reinschieben bis zum Anschlag“, so wenig wie möglich selbstständig rausfährt – 0 mm entsprechen 0% und fährt die Kolbenstange komplett raus, wären dies 100 % Rebound) ermöglich, als herkömmliche Stoßdämpfer. Dadurch wird die Reaktionsfähigkeit verringert und die Stoßdämpfung auf holprigen Strecken verbessert.

Complete sets of Zero Rebound Shock Absorbers for XB8. Zero Rebound Shocks can be set to allow less rebound than standard shock absorbers, decreasing responsiveness and improving bump absorption on bumpy tracks.

The special design of the shock body and upper cap allows the installation of a ribbed shock membrane on the top of the shock body instead of traditional installation into the upper cap. The installation of the ribbed membrane on the shock body allows excess oil to leak out, and along with a shock cap vent hole and adjusting screw allows the adjustment of the amount of air (rebound) until the desired zero rebound is achieved. The oversized big-bore shocks feature 18.5mm O.D. shock bodies, externally threaded with an adjustable collar for quick & easy spring preload adjustment. The shock bodies are coated in a titanium color and feature a 1-piece alu shock cap with vent hole.

The lower shock assembly ensures that the shock rod will move very freely inside the shock body, while minimizing oil leakage and keeping dirt out. Two shock O-rings – manufactured from a superior silicone compound to allow ultra-free movement of the shock rod while still maintaining a tight seal – are installed in the lower part of the shock body and are secured with composite shims. The entire lower shock assembly is secured with the lower aluminum shock cap which makes assembly/disassembly very quick and easy.

Thick, robust shock shafts handle any abusive racing conditions and big jumps. The 3.5mm thick shock shafts are precisely machined from special high-tensile steel, and afterwards are ground for a super-smooth finish to ensure smooth movement.

Includes complete set of pistons and lower rubber boots. Springs are NOT included.
