Its official, I finally have been Tilted!! This weekend was the Tiltyard Worlds held in Tiltyard in Dayton VA! It was everything everyone said it was, everything I expected and had a great time! It should be on everyone’s bucket list!!

With the rain forecast not looking great I decided to wait it out and leave Friday afternoon instead of Thursday. I’m glad I did as the weather was perfect Saturday and Sunday. Right off the bat Saturday morning my Xray cars were good and I got used to the layout pretty quick. I just needed to fine tune the shock oil and find the best tire tread and compound.

I had a shot to TQ both classes but a couple mistakes would have me start 3rd in both nitro buggy and ebuggy. I felt really good about my speed for the mains on Sunday!

In the Ebuggy main I dropped back to 4th early then made my way back up to second, myself and Jason Schreffler would go back and forth a few times for the lead and I would wind up with the win! My Hobbywing power, Motiv batteries and AKA Double Downs were solid the whole 10 minutes!

Thanks to James Henry for bailing me out with an ezup after mine was damaged by the rain Saturday night, Steve Downs for the great pit work and Homer Allman for the awesome track, I know I’ll definitely be back!
