INSPIRE4 – Das Projekt geht weiter

Nach einer längeren Pause gibt es eine neue Information zum Stand des INSPIRE4-Projekts, welches wegen Covid-19 pausiert hatte. Es gibt ein neues Update von dem CNC-bearbeitetes Differential, welches über 70% aus 7075-t6-Aluminium hergestellt werden wird. Vorteil, bessere Wärmeableitung und gleichbleibendere Viskosität des Öles. Das Diff soll kleiner und leicht sein, um die rotierende Masse so gering wie möglich zu halten. Das optionale Mitteldiff hat das gleiche Design.

With a break being forced onto the INSPIRE4 project due to covid-19 we are back working on bringing the INSPIRE4 into production.

We would like to share the latest update to the car which is a fully cnc machined diff with over 70% of the diff being manufactured from 7075-t6 aluminium. This benefits dissipating the heat from the diff oil more efficiently and lighter weight which reduces rotating mass.
The diff is also small in comparison to other manufacturers so it positioned low in the car but the volume of oil hasn’t been compromised.
The optional centre diff will share the same design.
