Report by Max Götzl

The first round of 1/10th Czech Nationals took a place last weekend in Potstejn. The weather forecast looked pretty bad for the race and the rain hit the track on Friday.
Luckily it stopped later and didn’t rain until Saturday.
We started qualifying with me taking the TQ in both, 2WD and 4WD class. The track was drying up through qualifying, I took all the qualifying runs with my XB4, but had to settle for 2nd place in the 2WD class behind Ales Bidovsky and in front of 3rd Marek Schiller. Ales took 2nd and Marek 3rd in 4WD.

Right before the finals a lot of water fell down on the track, so we needed to postpone the final runs.
The organizers did a good job getting the track ready to run with taking a lot of water off the track, but still there were many places completely under water. The first two final runs went perfect for me, as I took the win in both classes in A1 and A2 to secure the overall win! I managed to overtake Ales in both 2WD mains and win with a comfortable lead as my XB2 was flying around the track on the low grip. Ales took the 2nd place and Marek 3rd on both podiums.

Both my XRAY cars powered by Hobbywing and Sunpadow on Hotrace tires worked very well, I am posting my setup on the Xray setup sheet forum! Big thanks to all my sponsors for the awesome package of cars I have, but also to the organisers for making it possible to finish the race.
