M\u00e4rz) in einem neuen Austragungsort, der neuen Arena 33 zum vorletzten Rennen des EOS zu Gast. Nach drei von f\u00fcnf Rennen sind sowohl Michal Orlowski und Bruno Coelho auf Titelkurs. Mit dem Sieg in der Hudy Arena, einem dritten Sieg in Folge in Andernach k\u00f6nnte Michal Orlowski mit Schumacher den ersten EOS-Titel erringen und die dreij\u00e4hrige Dominanz von Yokomo beenden.<\/p>\n Sein Hauptkonkurrent in der Klasse 2WD ist niemand anders als Lee Martin (Lee gewann in der letzten beiden Jahren) auf Position 2. Lee m\u00fcsste am Samstag gewinnen, wenn er noch eine Titelchance haben m\u00f6chte. Beim Pre-EOS letzte Woche<\/a> war er bereits siegreich und er hofft, dass er einen kleinen Vorteil um das Titelrennen sich erarbeiten konnten. Eine theoretische Chance hat noch Marc Rheinard, der das Er\u00f6ffnungsrennen dieser Saison auf dem N\u00fcrburgring gewann. In der neuen Arena 33, die von seinem Bruder Toni geleitet wird, w\u00fcrde er gerne die erste internationale Veranstaltung gewinnen. F\u00fcr die Zukunft gibt es bereits Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr eine Outdoor-Strecke.<\/p>\n Punktgleich dahinter liegt Neil Cragg, der mit seinem Asso durchaus noch Chancen aufs Podium hat.Nachdem Bruno Coelho den EOS 4WD-Titel in seiner Deb\u00fct-Saison gewonnen hat, wird Coelho alles daran setzen seinen Titel am Sonntag zu verteidigen. Mit einem Sieg k\u00f6nnte er beruhigt zum letzten Rennen fahren. Der Xray-Fahrer behauptete seine F\u00fchrung durch den Sieg beim letzten Lauf in der Hudy Arena. Bisher konnte ihn nur Michal Orlowski in Warschau den Sieg entrei\u00dfen. Orlowski schaffte in Solvakia eine erstaunliche Aufholjagd im Finale. Von Platz 8 fuhr der Pole noch hinter Lee Martin und Coelho aufs Podium. W\u00e4hrend die Saisonf\u00fcr den ehemaligen Champion Lee Martin auf dem N\u00fcrburgring als TQ nach den Vorl\u00e4ufen gut begann, musste er sich im Finale doch von Bruno geschlagen geben. Lee liegt derzeit auf Platz 3 mit nur einem Punkt R\u00fcckstand auf Michal. Mit einem Sieg w\u00e4re wieder alles offen und vielleicht kann er sich den Titel doch noch schnappen. Der neue Team Associated RC10B64<\/a> konnten mit den beiden Piloten Cragg und Joona Hataanen beim 3.Lauf nicht das erwartete Ergebnis erreichen. \nReigning back to back champion Lee Martin, second in the points standings, is Orlowski\u2019s main title rival but with a season so far void of victory the British driver must win on Saturday if he is to have any chance of retaining his title.\u00a0 Attending the EOS Warm-up race last weekend at Arena33 and winning it, Martin will be hoping this gives him an early advantage on his rivals.
\nThe only other 2WD winner, taking the TQ and victory at the season opener at the Nurburgring, Marc Rheinard has had a tough time since but still finds himself third in the standings and in title contention.\u00a0 Like his Yokomo team-mate however he must win to stand a chance.\u00a0 Having been very much hands on in the building of Arena 33, which is run by his brother Toni, he would love to win the first international event to be hosted by the indoor track which has future plans to add an outdoor track.
\nOn the same points as Rheinard, Neil Cragg was hoping for more last time out having claimed his first EOS podium finish in Poland.\u00a0 The Team Associated driver hasn\u2019t lacked the speed and now entering into the concluding part of the season the reigning European & former World Champion will be keen to prove he has finally mastered racing on the carpet surface.
\nHaving clinched the 4WD title in his debut season, Coelho will be looking to successfully defend that impressive feat come Sunday.\u00a0 Kicking off the season with a win, the World Champion will be hoping for a repeat German performance.\u00a0 The Xray driver claimed a much expected win at the Hudy Arena, and only Orlowski has got the better of him this year when he did the double in Warsaw.\u00a0 Orlowski had an amazing recovery drive in Solvakia, turning around 8th in qualifying to finish on the podium behind Lee Martin and Coelho. While former champion Martin would open the season with a TQ, the EOS\u2019 last double champion hasn\u2019t been able to make it onto the top step of the 4WD podium either, a fact he will be determined to try & quash this weekend.
