Das sechste Rennen zur BRCA 1\/12 Serie war aucjh gleich das Finalevent in England. Gefahren wurden die beiden Klasse Stock 13,5 Turn und Modified 6,5 Turn mit starker Beteiligung. Eine Woche vor der EURO in der Racing Arena Limburg nochmal ein gutes Training f\u00fcr alle.<\/p>\n

X12’17 wins at the BRCA final<\/p>\n

The sixth and last round of the popular BRCA 1\/12 national series was held in Chesterfield, nearby Sheffield, in the middle of the UK.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, in the 13.5T category, I was eventually able to claim the 3rd and final podium spot, after a good run in the single final. Unfortunately I struggled a bit in qualifying, and could only manage 8th on the grid – but I was definitely happy to move up in the final standings. Jimmy Maddison had a very good day in the office as he qualified 7th and was on for a good finish in the final as well, until a mistake sent him down the order. Luke Burley made the main final as well with his X12’17!<\/p>\n

In the faster 6.5T Modified class that was run on Sunday, I immediately found a good pace, and could fight for TQ in every round of qualifying. I eventually missed out narrowly on the TQ, but could move up into the lead early on in the final. I held the lead until the finish line, which would reward me with my 3rd win this season! It was certainly a good ending to the weekend, and a good „warm-up“ for the upcoming European Championships!<\/p>\n
