„Unter gro\u00dfer Hitze“ an der sch\u00f6nen Strecke des MRTM-Lostalla wurden am Samstag, den 15.Juli 2017 gleich zwei neue Europameister gek\u00fcrt.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

In der Tourenwagen-Klasse war es Bernard-Alain Arnaldi, der \u00fcber die Tage sehr schnell unterwegs war und auf Pole stand. Im Finallauf behauptete er seine F\u00fchrung, die er nie abgab. Nach 2014 konnte er mit dem Erfolg den zweiten Titelgewinn in dieser Klasse vor Andrea Catalani mit dem bis dahin amtierenden Champion Giovanni Verbrugghe , feiern.<\/p>\n

In der F1-Klasse f\u00fchrte Kevin Stegm\u00fcller lange das Feld an, bis er mit seinem Auto Probleme bekam. Dadurch war die T\u00fcr f\u00fcr Toni Gil Marti offen, der \u00fcberraschend vor Kevin den Titel holte.<\/p>\n

Under high heat at the achingly beautiful Lostallo circuit we were treated to two great races to crown 2 new European Champions.<\/p>\n

In the premier Touring Car it was Bernard-Alain Arnaldi had been the class of the field all weekend and started on pole. In a text book display of precise and controlled driving he slowly built a lead that he was never to lose to regain the title he first won in 2014. Behind him Andrea Catalani gave chase with reigning champion Giovanni Verbrugghe hot in pursuit but it was Patrick Folman who looked most likely to challenge Arnaldi climbing up to second before mechanical woes took him out.<\/p>\n

In the F1 class Kevin Stegmuller lead comfortably for most of the race Until his car started to have problems opening the door for Toni Gil Marti to take a surprising win.<\/p>\n
