Dezember 2017 fand das letzte Rennen im Schumacher-Kalender MB-Models statt. Auf dem Terminplan stand der Schumacher-GP auf ihre sch\u00f6nen Anlage in der N\u00e4he von Leeds <!--more-->in Gro\u00dfbritannien.<a href=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GP_2017_Drivers_1k.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[147151]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-147153 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GP_2017_Drivers_1k-300x106.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"106\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GP_2017_Drivers_1k-300x106.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/GP_2017_Drivers_1k.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In der Klasse GT12-Klasse wurde mit Contact-Reifen (mit dem gr\u00fcnen Streifen) gefahren, um Chancengleichheit zu gew\u00e4hren. Dagegen war die Reifenwahl in der Klasse LPM12 freigestellt. Eine Reifenbeschr\u00e4nkung gab es ausserdem in der Klasse Tourenwagen. In dieser Klasse waren die Sorex 28RK-Reifen vorgeschrieben. Schon Monate zuvor war das Event mit den 60 GT12, 20 LMP12 und 18 Tourenwagen-Fahrer ausgebucht.<\/p>\n<p>Schumacher zeigte sich zufrieden mit dem fantastischen Event. Die besten Drei jeder Klasse gingen mit einer Box mit Schokolade nach Hause und die Gewinner bekamen ein Set-up-Board von Schumacher.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-147151 Models<\/p>\n<p>Saturday the 30th December saw the final race in the Schumacher Calendar with MB models hosting the Schumacher GP at their awesome facility near Leeds in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The main GT12 class was run on Contact green stripe control tyres, LPM12 was open tyres and Touring on Sorex 28RK tyres.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting had been fully booked for months in anticipation, with 60 GT12, 20 LMP12 and 18 Touring drivers lining up to do battle in the 4 qualifier 1 final format.<\/p>\n<p>In GT12 it was new Schumacher driver Adam Catchpole at his first large event with Schumacher doing battle at the top with Schumacher&#8217;s own Andy Murray.\u00a0 These two we&#8217;re slightly ahead of the chasing pack and the A final lined up as follows;<\/p>\n<p>1) Adam Cathpole &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n2) Andy Murray &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n3) Mark Jewitt &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n4) Ian Joyner &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n5) Craig Mawson &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n6) Nial Cochran &#8211; Zen<br \/>\n7) Greg Williams &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n8) Josh Coult &#8211; Schumacher Atom<br \/>\n9) Ben Elliott &#8211; Zen<br \/>\n10) Scott Morton &#8211; Schumacher Atom<\/p>\n<p>Adam took a flag to flag victory followed by Andy and Ian Joyner.<\/p>\n<p>In the LMP12 support class Schumacher&#8217;s Ben Vincent took a dominant TQ and victory from young Louis Parker, both driving the Eclipse chassis with Graham Raistrick coming home in the final podium position after a strong day.<\/p>\n<p>In the Touring Support class, Scott Scholey took TQ from Schumacher&#8217;s Chris Ashton and host Michael Ball.\u00a0 In the final Scott struggled in the first few corners allowing Chris to nip by and take a comfortable victory.\u00a0 Scott was second with Michal third.<\/p>\n<p>A fantastic meeting was had by all at this excellent facility, thank you to the drivers for making the trip and congratulations to the winners.<\/p>\n<p>The top three in each
