Vergangenes Wochenende fand die Runde 2 der 1\/10 Nitro French Championship auf der ber\u00fchmten Ampuis-Strecke statt.<\/p>\n

Diese Strecke ist aufgrund seines Layouts und der Mischung aus schnellen und langsamen Kurven eine der Sch\u00f6nsten in Frankreich.<\/p>\n

In diesem Jahr wurden die Vorl\u00e4ufe mit einer Fahrzeit von 4 Minuten gefahren und nur die beste Zeit f\u00fcr das Ranking gewertet. Bei diesem Spiel belegte L\u00e9o Arnold das Gesamt-TQ, gefolgt von seinem Teamkollegen Michael Derderian und Kevin Rasquin auf Platz drei. Die ersten beiden Fahrer sind direkt f\u00fcr das 45-min\u00fctige Hauptfinale qualifiziert. L\u00e9o Arnold siegte am Ende vor Quentin Leroux und Michael Derderian.<\/p>\n

Race report by L\u00e9o Arnold<\/p>\n

Past week-end, was held the second round of the 1\/10 nitro French Championship on the famous Ampuis track.<\/p>\n

This track is one of the nicest in France due to his high rhythm and the mix of slow and fast technical corner which requires a perfect setup on the car.<\/p>\n

This year, qualification is on 4 minutes and only the best time is count for the ranking. At this game, L\u00e9o Arnold took the overall TQ followed by his team mate Michael Derderian and Kevin Rasquin in third. The first two drivers are directly qualified for the 45min main final.<\/p>\n

In the final, L\u00e9o Arnold start from the pole and never quit this position to win the race by more than 3 laps on Quentin Leroux. In third Michael Derderian made a nice race to come back on the podium after have lost almost one lap due to a flame out on the starting grid.<\/p>\n

One of the key of this final was the tires strategy due to the huge tire wear. L\u00e9o and Michael were the only 2 to change two times while the rest of the field made only one stop.<\/p>\n

For the championship, L\u00e9o Arnold extend his lead after his win at the first round also.<\/p>\n

Next round is on the Clermont Ferrand track, host of the 1\/8 world championship in 1999<\/p>\n
