Robert Pietsch, der schon in den Trainings an vorderer Spitze zu finden war, setzte dies in den Vorl\u00e4ufen fort. Er startet morgen von der Pole ins Rennen. <!--more-->Dahinter gewann\u00a0Dario Balestri den Vierkampf um die Superpole und geht von Startplatz 2 ins Rennen.<a href=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Robert-PIETSCH.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[178565]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-178566\" src=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Robert-PIETSCH-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Robert-PIETSCH-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Robert-PIETSCH.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Bis dahin stehen die aufsteigenden Finals auf dem Zeitplan.<\/p>\n<p>Hier der Kampf um die Super Pole :<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SofDFzRVh44?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=de-DE&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<h6>Englische Version<\/h6>\n<p>After 17 (!) rounds of practice, qualifying began for the EFRA 1\/10th\u00a0IC track European Championships, held at the Vila Real circuit in\u00a0Portugal.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Pietsch looked like he had greater consistency than anyone else<br \/>\nin the lead up to qualifying, and so it proved as he took the first<br \/>\ntwo rounds of qualifying on Thursday evening, the first from Teemu<br \/>\nLeino and Kyle Branson, the second from Branson and Alessio Mazzeo.<br \/>\nWith the best three rounds from five to count, this put Pietsch in a<br \/>\nvery strong position going into Friday morning\u2019s final three rounds of<br \/>\nqualifying.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Pietsch sealed the pole position for Saturday\u2019s main final by<br \/>\ntaking round three from Leino and Branson, then just for good measure<br \/>\ntook round four as well from Mazzeo and Dario Balestri. Throughout<br \/>\nqualifying Pietsch didn\u2019t appear any faster than his rivals over a<br \/>\nsingle lap, but his pace was relentless and ultimately this got him to<br \/>\nthe front of the field every time.<\/p>\n<p>Into the last round of qualifying then, and with pole position already\u00a0secured the remaining drivers were left to do battle for the four\u00a0Superpole races An early retirement from Robert Pietsch opened the<br \/>\ndoor for Dario Balestri to take the round from Teemu Leino and Kyle\u00a0Branson, earning all three drivers a spot in the Superpole shootout\u00a0along with Alessio Mazzeo.<\/p>\n<p>Superpole<\/p>\n<p>Alessio Mazzeo was first to run, setting a best time of 20.802 on his\u00a0final lap, which Kyle Branson set about trying to beat, just coming up\u00a0short as he recorded a 21.081 on first lap out of the pits. With\u00a0Mazzeo\u2019s time still standing, Dario Balestri was next to run, and\u00a0looked doomed to fail after a scruffy first three laps with a clearly\u00a0aggressive car, before a fantastic fourth lap effort of 20.633 moved\u00a0him to the top of the timing screen. So convinced was Dario that he<br \/>\ncouldn\u2019t go faster that he abandoned his efforts at that point,\u00a0leaving just Teemu Leino to run.
