Entwickelt f\u00fcr die Rennstrecke auf Lehm, Gras, Astro-Torf oder Teppich. Mit dem Vorg\u00e4nger, dem Spyder SDX4 konnte Serpent die Europameisterschaft 2016 gewinnen.<\/p>\n<p>Der \u00fcberarbeitee Serpent SDX4 EVO 4WD 1\/10 4wd Buggy f\u00e4llt durch sein sehr gutes, einfaches und offenes Design auf. Entwickelt f\u00fcr verschiedene Untergr\u00fcnde mit vielseitigen Layouts des Einbaus der Elektronik. Motor, Lipo und Regler k\u00f6nnen an verschiedenen Stellen montiert werden um eine optimale Balance zu bekommen.<br \/>\nGute Zug\u00e4nglichkeit f\u00fcr Wartung und Setup, mit einer minimalen The transmission housings are neatly packaged in the bulkheads to further strength while allowing ease of assembly and disassembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Anti-roll bar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both the front and rear bulkheads allow mounting the ball-raced anti-roll bars. \u00a0The wire type anti-roll bars are lasered for easy identification. The wires connect to the arms with the proven friction free super smooth pivot ball system. \u00a0It is very easy to access and change the anti-roll bars as needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Motor mount<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The motor is mounted securely to the CNC machined 7075 T6 aluminum motor slide. The slide has been slotted into position to ensure consistent and reliable gear mesh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Center drive holders<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The slipper clutch unit is held in place by the motor mount bracket and a H shaped lightened 7075 T6 aluminum holder topped by a carbon connector plate that also holds the cable guiders in place. The slipper can also be replaced by a gear differential in the center. \u00a0 Its super easy to access the slipper or central gear diff.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Uprights<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lightened 7075 T6 aluminum uprights are same left and right and feature 3 camber link positions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Wheel hex<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The front and rear wheel hex are 12mm industry standard size. The hexes are clamp type and anodized to last. Flanged wheel nuts are included to keep the wheels in place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Body mounts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The strong composite body mounts are easily located in case used. As alternative Velcro can be added to the side of the chassis stiffeners\/side bars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Body<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top quality clear polycarbonate is used for the Spyder SRX4 buggy body. The nicely shaped body has flat sides and roof for extra downforce and great handling. It leaves enough space for electronics and cooling finds as needed. \u00a0The body closely follows the chassis shape, so less debris can enter the car. The body comes with a white precut masking sheet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rear wing and wing holder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The strong clear polycarbonate wing is mounted to the nylon rear wing holder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Wheels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durable Serpent designed wheels are included in white color for front and rear (tires and inserts are not included). Rear wheels are same as SRX2 and SRX4, the front ones have a different offset and are new. Compliant to the latest IFMAR rules.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b> Steering blocks and c-hubs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lightweight composite steering blocks are combined with aluminum 7075 T6 c-hubs. The c-hubs has 2 positions for the camber link and can be further finetuned by using more or less shims. The c-hubs are 10 degree\u2019s, other optional ones are 0, 3 and 5degree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Steering Bell Cranks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fully ball raced angled dual axis steering system with integrated servo saver function, offers an almost perfect Ackermann effect. \u00a0Ackermann can be set with small plates which mount to the steering arms and the black coated aluminum steering brace has 2 holes to choose from. \u00a0The servo saver has a pre-load nut to easily set the desired tension.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The steering system is mounted on a carbon fiber u-bracket which also connects the front left and right sides and acts stiffener.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>NEW Front\/Rear and center CVD\u2019s<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The EVO kit has been updated to utilize front\/rear outboard CVD\u2019s which have captured pins to ensure, you finish every race you start. The center drivetrain is no exception as it too was updated to have CVD\u2019s, all captured. The outboard CVD\u2019s increase efficiency and traction, while the drivetrain increase efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Updated 2.5mm Drivetrain Pins<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To increase reliability, and prolong the life of the drivetrain, the Evo drivetrain has been updated to use 2.5mm driveshaft pins throughout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Solid Hinge pins 3mm Hinge Pins<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The EVO Kit has been updated to use solid 3mm hinge pins on the front and rear inner pivots. This increase reliability and also allows you to shim your arms forward or back. Being able to shorten or length the car will allow you to further fine tune your car for every track condition you will face.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Updated 2 Pad Slipper<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The slipper assembly has been updated on the EVO to utilize 2 pads. By going to 2 pads, it will allow you a broader range of adjustment on dirt all the way up to Astroturf and Carpet. You can still use the old 3 pad slipper, simply by swapping out parts if you are looking even less slipper action on the most extreme conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Manual \/ setup sheet \/ decals<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Spyder SDX4 comes with a PDF style full color manual on a Serpent USB stick which shows the assembly process in steps following the packed bags. The manual also encloses the exploded views and a ref-guide to make it easy to find the part numbers you may need of spares and optional parts. All holes are countersunk to have a fully flat bottom surface. Holes are centered and symmetrical for even flex.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Chassis stiffener<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the rear the SDX4 features a carbon fiber chassis stiffener which is clamped between the rear\/front suspension bracket and the bulkhead and extends to the center. The brace has 5 optional holes to choose the stiffness by placing the small stiffener pole and screw or even adding more poles\/screws.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The system influences rear end flex and is set depending on grip levels and driving style.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Battery and stays<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SDX4 car accepts a shorty in standard trim, but you can also mount saddle packs as needed. The battery is kept in place by an easy to use composite battery-cover with a twist nut on one side.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Electronics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The center of the car allows plenty of space to mount the most popular speedo and receivers, as well as the transponder. The car also allows enough space to enable nice routing of your cables. Maximum choice of layouts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Drivetrain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SDX4 uses lightweight springsteel CVD and driveshafts front and rear and central. \u00a0The drivetrain has been completely updated to accept 2.5mm driveshaft pins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Gear-diffs and cases<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Compact oil-filled gear differentials are used in front and rear. These super smooth units are light and compact and very durable. The differentials are also very easy to build and are very low maintenance. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both the outer differential cases ( front and rear) are clamped between the aluminum bulkheads and require no other fasteners at all. Super simple and fast for maintenance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Differential main gear and bevel gear.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The precision machined straight cut differential main gear and bevel gear are made in hardened springsteel for smooth operation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ball joints \/ track rods<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New style and material ball joints for smooth suspensions and steering. \u00a0The outer steering ball joints are angled to clear all rims\/tires . The track rods and camber links are made in thin but durable springsteel with L\/R threading for easy adjustment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Shocks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Serpent hard coated shock bodies and composite shock tops for super smooth operation and durability. 3.2mm shafts with new pre-oiled X-ring package and molded pistons. The shocks can be used either emulsion or membrane configuration. \u00a0The shock springs have grounded ends, checked and matched for perfect equal operation. \u00a0Ride height can be easy set with the threaded collars which have O-rings inside to make sure they stay in position.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Shock towers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new designed durable 4mm thick carbon fiber front and rear shock towers with 4 positions for the front shock angle and 4 positions for the rear shock angle. For roll center adjustment the front bracket features 5 holes to choose camber link positions. 3 inner and 2 outer.
