Sartel sofort in F\u00fchrung, gefolgt von Ronnefalk, und es schien, dass der Schwede den Franzosen bald \u00fcberholen w\u00fcrde, bis ein gro\u00dfer Abflug ihn auf einen fernen 4. Platz brachte. Musso und Ongaro lieferten sich einen packenden Kampf dahinter, aber Ronnefalk erholte sich von seinem fr\u00fcheren Fehler und kam an Ongaro vorbei, um in der vorletzten Runde mit einem tollen Endspurt den zweiten Platz zu erreichen. Sartel siegte fast ungef\u00e4hrdet.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr Jean Perrick Sartels, der zu seinem ersten Sieg bei einer Europameisterschaft raste, war es fast ein Spaziergang. Es schien, als wenn seine Rivalen sich verschworen hatten, nicht gewinnen zu wollen! David Ronnefalk „flog“ nach 2 Runden ab und eine halbe Runde sp\u00e4ter trafen sich Musso und Ongaro in der Luft, was zu einem Schaden bei dem Italiener f\u00fchrte und einem gro\u00dfen Zeitverlust f\u00fcr Thomas. Sartel musste sich f\u00fcr den Rest des Rennens nur noch auf den Titel vorbereiten und fuhr einen weiteren Laufsieg f\u00fcr Frankreich und sich heraus.<\/p>\n

Sartel startete traditionsgem\u00e4\u00df nicht im\u00a0 dritten Finale, so dass es bei Ongaro, Ronnefalk und Musso lag, um die weiteren Pl\u00e4tze unter sich auszutragen. Musso and Ongaro then enetertained us with another great battle eventually decided in Ongaros favour, but all the time Ronnefalk was recovering from his earlier mistake and got past Ongaro to re take 2nd<\/sup>on the penultimate lap with a great 3 corner pass. Through out this action behind Sartel led and despite a couple of \u201cbobbles\u201d himself took the win relatively untroubled.<\/p>\n Leg Two<\/p>\n If Leg one was relatively untroubled, Jean Perrick Sartels run to his first European championship was a walk in the park as his rivals conspired to put themselves out of contention! David Ronnefalk crashed badly from second after 2 laps and then half a lap later Musso and Ongaro came together in the air resulting in race ending damage for the Italian and a huge loss of time for Thomas. Sartel then only had to pace himself for the rest of the race to take the title and he drove another exemplary race to bring it home for France<\/p>\n Leg Three<\/p>\n Sartel, as is tradition, didn\u2019t start leg three so it was left to\u00a0\u00a0Ongaro, Ronnefalk and Musso to fight it out for the bottom two steps on the podium.
