Am vergangenen Wochenende fand der erste Lauf zum Lestr Cup statt. Wie immer hatten die Organisatoren einen sch\u00f6nen anspruchsvollen Track mit Spr\u00fcngen „der alten Schule“ vorbereitet. Bereits am Freitag konnte am Abend trainiert werden. Samstagmorgen ging es damit weiter.<\/p>\n

In den Vorl\u00e4ufen 4WD f\u00fchrte Kaja Novotny vor Jiri Mara und Vaclav Broz an. 2WD war ebenfalls Kaja der schnellste Pilot, doch dahinter k\u00e4mpften Vaclav Broz, Marcel Dostal und Jiri Mara um Platz 2, den sich Vaclav sichern konnte.<\/p>\n

Keine \u00dcberraschung gab es in der Klasse 4WD im Finale. Es blieb bei der Reihenfolge, nur in 2WD schaffte\u00a0Jiri Mara den Sprung von 4 auf 2 und somit aufs Podium.<\/p>\n

      Race Report by Kaja Novotny<\/p>\n

      Last weekend, we attended the opening round of Lestr Cup series. As always organisers prepared nice technical track with \u201cold school\u201d logical jumps and it was quite a fun to drive! As I wanted to try few things on my XB2 and XB4, I already did practice on Friday night and then arrived as one of the first on Saturday for free practice.<\/p>\n

      In qualifications both my cars felt already very good and improved each run. In 4wd, my XB4 TQed Q1 and Q2 and secured the overall TQ in front of Jiri Mara! Vaclav Broz competed TOP 3 with his XB2 also in 4wd class! Surprisingly for me, my 2wd times weren\u00b4t much behind 4wd times on this track and so it didn\u00b4t seem like much a disadvantage! In 2wd my XB2 was on different level, behind it was 3 horse battle for the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0spot between Vaclav Broz, Marcel Dostal and Jiri Mara with Vaclav coming out the best!<\/p>\n

      As this was the closest grip I could get to practice on before EOS, I kept doing changes on my XB4 also for the finals! Unfortunately A1 was not a right move, but it resulted into nice battle between Jiri and me which lasted almost full 5 minutes, eventually I took it! In A2 and A3 my XB4 improved rapidly and I managed to win both legs with Jiri Mara always 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0and Vaclav Broz completing the podium!<\/p>\n

        In 2wd finals, my Hobbywing powered XB2 worked awesome and won all 3 mains! Battle for the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0place continued all 3 legs and eventually it was Jiri coming out best! Vaclav\u00b4s XB2 completed the podium!<\/p>\n
