Die etablierten und auch hinzugekommenen Hersteller <!--more-->brachten ihre neuesten Fahrzeug, wie dem <a href=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/2018\/08\/03\/xray-x122019-der-neue-12er\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Xray X12`2019<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/2018\/11\/30\/189248\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Roche P12 EVO<\/a> und ein interessantes Projekt, der <a href=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/2018\/11\/22\/project-godspeed-pg-pace12-die-praesentation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pace12 von Project Godspeed<\/a>. Auff\u00e4llig das gut verarbeitete Aluminium-Chassis mit den Kohlefaserteilen, die selbst kontruiert, hergestellt und getestet wurden. Als Basis nahm Benedict einen CRC CK25 und r\u00fcstete diesem mit seinen Alu\/Carbon Conversion-Kit aus, welches er auch zum Verkauf anbietet. Im Vordergrund steht f\u00fcr ihn die Entwicklung und in Bezug auf den Vertrieb m\u00fcsste er mehr tun.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Benedict-Vantomme0ACRC-CK25-Blaze_-6.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[190314]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-190316\" src=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Benedict-Vantomme0ACRC-CK25-Blaze_-6-300x146.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Benedict-Vantomme0ACRC-CK25-Blaze_-6-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mikanews.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Benedict-Vantomme0ACRC-CK25-Blaze_-6.jpg 850w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Das &#8222;VCD&#8220;, was auf dem Chassis zu lesen ist, steht f\u00fcr Vantomme Carbon Designs und ist eine nichtkommerzielle Initiative, die im Jahr 2005 aus seiner Liebe zum RC- und haupts\u00e4chlich zum Elektro-Pan-Car-Rennen (12. Skala, World GT und PRO10 235mm), entstand.<\/p>\n<p>Bei seinem Fahrzeug, dem CRC CR25 fuhr er das 2,0 mm Aluminium-Chassis und Power-Pod in Verbindung mit dem im Kit liegenden Kohlefaserteilen, welche 2,3 mm dick sind. Alles von ihm entwickelt und umgesetzt. Die ersten Entw\u00fcrfe waren von Hand gezeichnet und basierten auf dem SpeedMerchant REV.4-Chassis, dann ging es weiter mit neuen Teilen f\u00fcr den CRC, wobei viele Teile, wie Aufh\u00e4ngung, Achsen usw. \u00fcbernommen wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Derzeit ist sein Portfolio \u00fcberschaubbar, jedoch soll es noch anwachsen. Daf\u00fcr entwickelte Benedict die ersten Chassisplatten und Pods f\u00fcr den CRC XTI WC und den Speedmerchant Rev 8.5, wie dieser von dem Franzosen Arnaud\u00a0Lemperiere in der Racing Arena Limburg gefahren wurde. This was immediately a succesfull start!<\/div>\n<div>Later that year, the 2nd edition of the Master of Foam, this time at the Sittard track, was even better&#8230; just missing out on winning the Masters !<\/div>\n<div>Rico Claeys took his VCD to a 2nd place A final in Stock.<\/div>\n<div>The 3rd edition was very good with 7 people driving VCD cars, with an A finalist in Modified (Jacques Libar), an A finalist in Stock (Rico Claeys) and winning the B and C final in Stock as well as the B final in 17.5<\/div>\n<div>The 2017 edition had 5 VCD cars, putting 2 cars in the B final Stock and the latest edition had Rico Claeys putting his VCD once more in the A final Stock!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The latest results were mainly in the Belgian Cup 12th scale with a nice and very close 1 &#8211; 2 for VCD (Benedict Vantomme and Rico Claeys both driving other VCD cars; with Benedict the small &#8222;Arrow&#8220; version and Rico the &#8222;E12&#8220; version)\u00a0 and the A final Modified at the Arena League for Benedict Vantomme (E12).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The current VCD cars use the 2.0mm aluminium chassis instead of the 2.3mm woven carbon chassis.
