Wir haben uns entschieden hier nur zwei Hersteller zuzulassen, MOBGums und HSpeed. Warum? Weil Hupo und Markus garantieren, dass der Gummi der Reifen identisch ist, nur die Felge ist anders. Reifen anderer Hersteller bieten das Risiko, dass sie zwar einen Reifen mit Streifen anbieten oder machen k\u00f6nnen, aber dann wei\u00df man nie wirklich was drauf ist. Dadurch w\u00e4ren kontrollierte Reifen wieder v\u00f6llig sinnfrei.<\/p>\n
Ihr fragt Euch vielleicht wo jetzt nun der Vorteil liegt. Das ist einfach. Wir w\u00e4hlen einen Reifen aus, der bei jedem Streckengrip funktioniert. Vielleicht w\u00e4re ein bestimmter anderer Reifen auf bestimmen Streckenbedingungen in dem Moment schneller, aber die m\u00fcsst ihr nun nicht mehr alle in der Kiste haben, weil der Reifen f\u00fcr alle gleich ist. Am Ende spart Ihr eine Menge Geld, da Ihr nur noch einen Reifentyp braucht. Fertig. Gebt uns noch ein paar Wochen f\u00fcr die letzten Tests bevor wir Euch dann die exakten Artikelnummern ank\u00fcndigen werden.<\/p>\n
Die n\u00e4chste \u00c4nderung betrifft die Motoren. Ab n\u00e4chster Saison werden wir in 17.5 die EFRA und nicht mehr nur die DMC Liste verwenden. Damit habt Ihr etwas mehr Auswahl.<\/p>\n
Wir bleiben auch weiterhin bei normalen LMP Chassis, so dass Ihr Euch nicht extra ein GT Chassis kaufen m\u00fcsst.<\/p>\n
Das Mindestgewicht ist noch in der Diskussion und hier ist Eure Meinung gefragt, da die Autos alle sehr unterschiedlich sind. Wir m\u00f6chten die GT Fahrer daher bitten Ihr Autogewicht (rennfertig ohne Zusatzgewichte) zu kommentieren.<\/p>\n
Am Ende bleibt noch eine Sache, die sich auf den Anfang des Posts bezieht. Die GT Klasse ist gedacht f\u00fcr Einsteiger und \u00e4ltere Fahrer, die es etwas ruhiger haben wollen. Ein Fahrer, der schon zig Rennen gewonnen hat, sehr erfahren ist und immer noch so schnell ist wie die meisten Stockfahrer, sollte auch 13.5 fahren. Wir m\u00f6chten hier keine harte Regel festlegen, aber wir denken jeder wei\u00df was damit gemeint ist. Wir appellieren also an Eure Rennfahrer-Ehre die GT Klasse auch f\u00fcr die zu lassen, f\u00fcr die sie gedacht ist.<\/p>\n

GT class is growing and becoming more and more popular. The GT class is intended to be for beginners and senior drivers. So speed and costs have to pair with fun at the track.<\/p>\n
To ensure that GT class meets these goals we had to adjust the class rules. The biggest change for next season is the implementation of controlled tires in the GT class.<\/p>\n
We decided to allow two manufactures of controlled tires MOBGums and HSpeed. Why we did this? Because Hupo and Marcus will guarantee that the foam is identical, only the rim is different. Tires from other manufactures for sure could also make a striped tire but we and you could never be sure if the foam itself is identical and that would make a controlled tire senseless.
\nYou may ask \u201cWhere is the advantage of controlled tires?\u201d That\u2019s simple. We choose a tire that works on every track grip level. Maybe this or that foam would be faster on a specific track, but there won\u00b4t be a need to have them all your boxes because the tire will be the same for all. So in the end you will safe a lot of money because you only need one sort of tire and it will work. Period. Give us some weeks for the last tests and then we will announce the order number.<\/p>\n
The other thing is that we will change the motor list from DMC 17.5 list to EFRA 17.5 list. So you will have more motors to choose from.<\/p>\n
We will also stay with normal LMP chassis so there is no need to buy a special GT chassis.<\/p>\n
The minimum weight is still in discussion and we would like to get your opinions, because the car weights are so different, we like to ask the GT drivers what their car weighs ready to run without extra weight in it.<\/p>\n
The last thing to mention refers to the introduction. As the GT class is intended to be for beginners and senior drivers, we think that a racer who has won races, is well experienced and as fast as the stock guys, he should drive the 13.5 class. We don\u2019t want to set a specific rule but we think that you know what is meant by that. So we appeal to your racers honor to leave the GT class to those which it is intended for.<\/p>\n
