Am Wochenende fand in der Hudy-Arena in Trencin das WarmUp zur IFMAR-Weltmeisterschaft Elektro 1\/10 Offroad statt. Die Strecke wurde daf\u00fcr im Vorfeld fertiggestellt und nat\u00fcrlich stand es den Fahrern und Teams frei, dass Rennen als Training f\u00fcr die diesj\u00e4hrige IFMAR-Weltmeisterschaft an dieser Stelle zu nutzen. Aufgrund der zahlreichen Rennen im Jahr nicht einfach, zumal gerade das Reedy Race of Champions 2019 stattfand, wie auch das EFRA Euro A WarmUp 1\/8 Offroad und viele weitere mehr. Wenn wir den Blick auf die A-Finalisten werfen zeigt sich nicht nur, dass Xray erfolgreich war, sondern es zeigt, wie spannend es zur IFMAR-Weltmeisterschaft werden wird. Mit Ryan Maifield fehlte der amtierende Doppelweltmeister, dann u. a. Jared Tebo, Ryan Cavalieri, Ty Tessmann, David Ronnefalk und einige mehr.<\/p>\n

Bis zur IFMAR-Weltmeisterschaft bleibt noch Zeit f\u00fcr die Hersteller und Fahrer an den Fahrzeugen zu t\u00fcfteln. Nun ein Blick auf das Ergebnis vom Wochenende:<\/p>\n

      2019 World Championship 1\/10 Electric off-road Warm-up Race eas held at Hudy\u00a0Arena, Trencin, Slovakia<\/p>\n

      2WD Free practice, Timed practice and Qualifications were on the schedule on Friday. During free practice and timed practice, drivers were getting used to the Hudy Arena conditions.<\/p>\n

      Martin Bayer took timed practice. In qualifications it was Bruno Coelho who was able to take overall TQ in form of Martin Bayer and Daniek Kobbevik. Joona Haatanen was showing goodpace during qualifications and was able to take Q3.<\/p>\n

      Going into finals on Saturday, Bruno Coelho was the man to beat but Bruno held his starting position and after taking A1 & A2 he secured his win. Martin Bayer \u00a0finished 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0and Joona Haatanen 3rd<\/sup>. Spencer Rivkina dn Dustin Evens were able to move up and finished 4th<\/sup>\u00a0and 5th<\/sup><\/p>\n

        4WD Action started on Saturday after 2WD finals.<\/p>\n

        Joona Haatanen was setting the pace in free practice by setting the fastest time. \u00a0In timed practice, 3 drivers (Bayer, Haatanen, Rivkin) were able to place times below 1min 10 seconds and Martin Bayer was the fastest one.<\/p>\n

        Joona Haatanen started storng again in Q by taking Q1. Q2 & Q3 went to Martin Bayer. Michal Orlowski took Q4 and Daniel Kobbevik Q5. After qualifiations Martin Bayer was ahaed of Joona Haatanen and Bruno Coelho.<\/p>\n

        Things got a lot interestig in finals. Lot of passing during each final. In A1 it was Martin Bayer who too the win. In A2 it was great battle between Bruno Coelho and Martin Bayer for the win but Bruno Coelho was hapier\u00a0 at the end of A2. There were 3 drivers going into A3 who could possibli win \u2013 Bayer, Coelho, Kobbevik. Martin Bayer showed a great run and claimed his overall win follwed by Coelho and Kobbevik.<\/p>\n
