Was f\u00fcr ein Jahr…. 1976\u2026. war ein verr\u00fccktes Jahr in der F1, als Tyrrell den „P34“ auf 6 R\u00e4dern (vier gelenkt) pr\u00e4sentierte.
\nFenix-Racing freut sich, den Prototyp\u00a0March 240 zeigen zu k\u00f6nnen, wobei nur die vorderen beiden R\u00e4der angelenkt werden. An der Hinterachse sind die anderen vier der sechs R\u00e4der.<\/p>\n

1976\u2026. a crazy year in F1, that was a time where designers could explore far more than today.
\nTyrrell develop the \u201cP34\u201d a 6 wheels, with 4 steering wheels.
\nLess people known that March start an ambitious project as well: the 2-4-0
\nThe name stands for
\n2 steering wheels
\n4 wheel drive
\n0 differential
\nThe idea was \u2013 somehow \u2013 too good to be true: Better traction, less aero drag, but most important it could get some sponsor attention.
\nBut, for a small team like March, was somehow more than they could chew, nevertheless it reach the goal to help in cover part of the budget needed by the team.
\nReal car was used just few times during private tests, by Ian Schecker, Jodi\u2019s brother.
\nLater\u2026 the 4wd package was sold to Roy Lane who fit it over his March 771, used in Hillclimb races, where the car score some victories.
