In der Gesamtwertung liegt Patrick Fankhauser jetzt 40 und 60 Punkte vor Stefan Wuthrich und Traugott Schar. Patrick hat damit gute Chancen seinen Titel aus dem letzten Jahr zu verteidigen.<\/p>\n<h6>Englische Version<\/h6>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Race Report by Patrick Fankhauser<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 4th round of Swiss nationals was held on the technical track at Herblingen.\u00a0Friday afternoon we had 5 rounds of free practice. My car was perfect and I was able to set the fastest lap.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Saturday we drove 4 rounds of qualifications and the super pole. I managed a TQ run and a 2nd place 0.5 second behind Marco Rizzo in the first two rounds of qualifications. That gave me the opportunity to fight for the overall TQ. In the afternoon the temperature has risen from 18 to 27 degrees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I struggled a bit with the setup during the hotter conditions. The front tires became after 2 minutes too hot and the car was difficult to handle. So I could not secure the TQ, but I was still on the 2nd place behind Marco Rizzo. That meant 2nd spot for the 45 minutes long A-main.\u00a0Overall we had 6 XRAY NT1 in the A-main!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The weather forecast for Sunday looked sunny with 29 degrees. So we decided to make 2 small changes on the front of the car, to have less camber gain and hopefully, less temperature on the front tires.\u00a0The two small changes paid-off. The car was more consistent and easier to drive. The tire wear was very high. We decided to make only one tire change at midrace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marco Rizzo, Niclas Scherer and I pulled away from the rest of the field. My teammate Traugott Schar (started on 6th place) was closing in after 4 minutes. But unfortunately an engine issue stopped his race. The battle for the first 3 positions was exciting with many position changes. I tried to save my tires to make the all four tire change at 25 minutes mark to have the fresher tires in the end of the race. The rest of the field changed the tires after 20 minutes.<br \/>\nNiclas had also engine issues and my teammate Stefan Wuthrich was now on the 3rd position. Marco Rizzos mechanics have made a perfect tire change and I was from now on under pressure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 minutes before the end I was 1 second behind Marco and he slowly ran out of tires. 4 Minutes later he was on the rims and I was able to pass him and win the race! Stefan finished on 3rd place \u2013 congratulations to both of you!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/10 IC Results<\/p>\n<ol style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Patrick Fankhauser \u2013 XRAY NT1<\/li>\n<li>Marco Rizzo<\/li>\n<li>Stefan Wuthrich \u2013 XRAY NT1<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The last race will be in 4 weeks at Langenthal.
