Eine wichtige Information gibt es von der ETS-Leitung zur FWD Klasse. Es wurden in der Zwischenzeit einige Test mit verschiedenen FWD-Fahrzeugen und Konzepten durchgef\u00fchrt. Dabei wurde festgestellt,\u00a0dass kein bestimmtes Chassis-Layout einen nennenswerten Vorteil (oder Nachteil) gegen\u00fcber anderen hat.<\/p>\n

Aus diesem Grund wurde das Reglement f\u00fcr die Saison 2019\/2020 angepasst. JEDES \u00f6ffentlich erh\u00e4ltliche entwickelte FWD Chassis\u00a0darf gefahren werden. Die Position der gesamten Elektronik (einschlie\u00dflich Motor und Akku) im Chassis ist frei. Die einzige Einschr\u00e4nkung besteht darin, dass das Chassis bei einem normalen Hersteller erh\u00e4ltlich sein muss – „self made“ oder umgebaute Allradfahrzeuge sind nicht zul\u00e4ssig.<\/p>\n

Dieses\u00a0Update wurde im besten Interesse aller unserer Rennfahrer bei der ETS durchgef\u00fchrt und hoffen, dass ihr in der neuen FWD-Klasse vom 25. bis 27. Oktober zum ersten Lauf der Serie in Wien dabei seid!<\/p>\n

In June, we announced our new Front Wheel Drive class for the 2019\/2020 ETS Season. At this time, we set out rules for the chassis‘ which we believed would make a level field for all our racers.<\/p>\n

Since then, the ETS team have been conducting a lot of testing with a variety of FWD chassis, on both indoor and outdoor tracks. This testing has concluded that no particular chassis layout has a notable advantage (or disadvantage) over\u00a0any other.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Therefore, we are updating our rules for the 2019\/2020 season to confirm that ANY publically available, FWD puposed-designed chassis will be allowed to be used. The position within the chassis of all electronics (including motor and battery) is free. The only restriction is that the chassis must be available to buy from a normal manufacturer – „self made“ or converted 4WD cars will not be allowed.<\/p>\n

We’ve made this update in the best interests of all our racers at the ETS and hope that you can join us in our new FWD class, starting for Round 1 of the series in Vienna, Austria, on 25-27 October!<\/p>\n
