Der Xray XB8`20 ist seit kurzer Zeit auf dem Markt. Wie von Xray einigen bekannt sein wird, ist die Anleitung (PDF)<\/a>\u00a0sehr ausf\u00fchrlich gehalten. Der Zusammenbau ist darin ausf\u00fchrlich erkl\u00e4rt und anhand der\u00a0Abbildungen gut nachvollziehbar. Daher wird dies\u00a0kein typischer Aufbaubericht sein. Hier geht es mehr um die Details, um das Maximum aus dem Aufbau bzw. der Wartung heraus zu holen.<\/p>\n

This is more about getting the max out of your build or maintenance. I explain to you in this report how I proceed with my car, when its new or just in the maintenance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Let’s start with the bearings from the vehicle. This is about degreasing and oiling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Wie ihr auf der Abbildung sehen k\u00f6nnt, habe ich die blauen Abdeckungen entfernt, um die Lager zu entfetten. Ich habe bewusst nur die 8x16x5 Lager genommen, da die anderen Lager auf Verschlei\u00df anf\u00e4lliger sind und ge\u00f6lt nicht lange halten. Wenn ihr ein Fahrzeug nur f\u00fcr ein Rennen aufbaut w\u00fcrde ich diesen Vorgang mit allen Lager durchf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n

As you can see in the picture, I removed the blue covers to degrease the bearings. I have deliberately only taken the 8x16x5 bearings, as the other bearings are more prone to wear and do not last long oiled. If you build a vehicle only for one race I would do this process with all the bearings.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Als N\u00e4chstes k\u00fcmmere ich mich um die D\u00e4mpfer.<\/p>\n

I put the bearings with the removed cover in washing gasoline for a few minutes so that the grease can detach from the bearings. Then I blow them out with compressed air and oil them with sewing machine oil. Once oiled, the covers come back on it. Next, I take care of the dampers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Der Rest des Aufbaus der D\u00e4mpfer ist in der Anleitung perfekt beschrieben. Nehmt euch Zeit f\u00fcr den Zusammenbau der D\u00e4mpfer um gut funktionierende D\u00e4mpfer zu erhalten. Wichtig in diesem Fall, benutzt immer das selbe \u00d6l, wenn ihr Setup an eurem Fahrzeug vornehmt, da trotz derselben Angabe (Beispiel: 550cSt) die Viskosit\u00e4t sich von Hersteller zu Hersteller unterscheidet.<\/p>\n

Nach weiteren Schritten im Zusammenbau kommt der n\u00e4chste Punkt, auf den ihr achten solltet. Bevor ihr das untere Tellerrad montiert, solltet ihr schon ein bisschen vom Differenzial\u00f6l einf\u00fcllen. Damit ist gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass \u00fcberall \u00d6l ist.<\/p>\n

First I push the bevel gears on the Differential and turn it to check if it runs round and doesn’t hook. After further steps in assembly comes the next point to pay attention to. Before you mount the lower plate wheel, you should already fill a bit of the differential oil. This ensures that there is oil everywhere.<\/p>\n

Ihr solltet immer darauf achten, dass die selbe Menge \u00d6l im Differenzial ist. Daf\u00fcr gibt es mehrere Methoden. Ich benutze daf\u00fcr eine Waage. Somit ist gew\u00e4hrleistet, dass bei eurem Setup immer die gleiche Menge an \u00d6l vorhanden ist.<\/p>\n

You should always make sure that the same amount of oil is in the differential. There are several methods for this. I use a scale for this. This ensures that the same amount of oil is always present during your setup.<\/p>\n

Vor dem restlichen Zusammenbau ist es wichtig, dass ihr die Dichtung des Differenzials fettet. Somit bleibt sie \u201egeschmeidig\u201c und dichtet besser ab.<\/p>\n

Nun kommen wir zu einem f\u00fcr mich sehr wichtigen Punkt, der von vielen vernachl\u00e4ssigt wird, aber das Rollverhalten des Antriebsstrangs sehr stark beeinflusst. Das Einstellen des Zahnflankenspiels.<\/p>\n

Es sollte ein minimales Spiel vorhanden sein.<\/p>\n

Dabei \u00fcberpr\u00fcft ihr, dass er links oder rechts auf der gleichen H\u00f6he aktiv wird.<\/p>\n

Beim Einbau des Mitteldifferenzials am Fahrzeug gibt es auch etwas zu beachten.<\/p>\n

Ich montiere erst die zwei oberen B\u00f6cke mit den Bremsbel\u00e4gen und probiere zwischendurch immer ob alles glatt l\u00e4uft. Danach setze ich die Platte auf und ziehe zuerst die langen Schrauben an und dann die kurzen, wie auf dem Bild zu sehen. Wichtig, immer den Freilauf zwischendurch kontrollieren.<\/p>\n

Ein kleines Feature, das ich eingebaut habe ist ein Spritzschutz, dass beim Betanken kein Sprit auf die Bremsbel\u00e4ge kommt.<\/p>\n

I first mount the two upper bucks with the brake pads and always try in between to see if everything is running smoothly. Then I put the plate on and first put on the long screws and then the short ones, as seen on the picture. Important, always check the freewheel in between. A small feature I have installed is a splash guard that does not get fuel on the brake pads when refuelling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Damit erspart ihr euch das Einstellen des Ritzelspiels beim Tauschen der Kupplungslager.<\/p>\n
