Die neuen ECS BB-Antriebswellen (kugelgelagert) bieten einen erheblichen Leistungsgewinn gegen\u00fcber den Standard-Antriebswellen. Die Reibung zwischen der Antriebswelle und dem Outdrive wird stark reduziert, was zu einem viel gleichm\u00e4\u00dfigeren Fahrgef\u00fchl beitr\u00e4gt, insbesondere bei schnellen Richtungswechseln wie Schikanen. Die verringerte Reibung tr\u00e4gt zur Erh\u00f6hung der Kurvengeschwindigkeit bei eurem Xray T4<\/a> bei.<\/p>\n

Xray empfiehlt die k\u00fcrzeren 52-mm-Wellen f\u00fcr kleinere, technischere Strecken, bei denen mehr anf\u00e4ngliche Lenkung erforderlich ist.<\/p>\n

Die 53-mm-Wellen eignen sich am besten f\u00fcr gr\u00f6\u00dfere und rund zu fahrende Streckenlayouts. Sie bieten etwas weniger anf\u00e4ngliche Lenkung, aber eine bessere Lenkung in der Mitte der Kurve.<\/p>\n

Die Wartung dieser Lagerantriebswellen ist notwendig, aber sehr einfach. The new ECS BB (Ball-Bearing) driveshafts offer a significant performance gain over the standard blade-type driveshafts. The friction between the driveshaft and the outdrive is greatly reduced, which helps to give a much smoother handling feel, especially on fast direction changes, such as chicanes. The reduced friction helps to increase cornering speeds.<\/p>\n

We recommend the shorter 52mm shafts for smaller, more technical tracks, where more initial steering is needed.<\/p>\n

The 53mm shafts are best suited for more open and flowing track layouts. They will provide slightly less initial steering, but better steering in the middle of the corner, as well as on power.<\/p>\n

Maintenance of these bearing driveshafts is necessary, but very simple. Build them as you would your normal ECS driveshafts, but with the following addition; we recommend using the Hudy Joint Grease (106213) between the small bearings and the outdrives, for a prolonged life of the parts.<\/p>\n
