Creating an increase in distance between the axle housing and the ground for improved clearance, portal drives also feature a different drive ratio that improves the crawling performance over obstacles via each wheel.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring all alloy axle housings, painted alloy diff covers, CNC machined steering knuckles, front CVA driveshafts, CNC C-Hubs, CNC portal housing and CNC steering bar. Heavy duty hardened, drive gears are used throughout and all shafts are ball bearing supported.
