\nSerpent Natrix 750E is available now!!
\nThe Serpent 750E Natrix is the latest Electric version of the 750. Electric racing has developed big time, the possible power is huge. Especially in the popular dragster class in the US the power going through the transmission is extreme. The 750E is designed to take care of that power and put it down as effective as possible. The 750E is based on the ultra-successful 750 gas racer and shares it\u2019s suspension, shocks and quite a lot of other features like the chassis plate or the driveshafts<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Front bumper and bodymount
\nThe new front bumper has an improved
\naerodynamic effect and excellent protection.
\nMedium or small foam bumper pad can still be
\nfitted as optional. The upper carbon fibre
\nbody plate mounts to the front bumper with alu
\npost and secures the front body posts
\n\u2022Chassis
\nSymmetrical chassis plate optimised flex and
\ntorsion, in 7075 T6 aluminium, anodised and
\nlaser engraved. Chamfered edges for more
\nground clearance when cornering and
\ncountersunk holes.
\n\u2022Low big bore shocks
\nCoated threaded shock bodies in high quality
\naluminium. Supersmooth x-ring \/ machined
\nbushing package, to guide and seal the spring-
\nsteel piston rods. Precision machined pistons
\nincluded in 3 types. Threaded pre-load
\nshocknuts in alu with O-ring inside. Light but
\nstrong nylon spring-cups. Selected, matched
\nand paired shock absorber springs with colour
\ncoding.
\n\u2022Shocktower front
\nSuperlow 3.0mm carbon fibre shocktower with 3
\npositions for upper shock mounting. In the
\ncentre you can mount the 3rd body post as
\nneeded.
\n\u2022Steering blocks
\nVery strong composite steering blocks with 2
\nAckermann positions, L and R use the same .
\nThe steering blocks feature inserts, which
\nallow to change the kingpin inclination to a
\nleading or trailing position. The steering
\nblocks also allow use of the optional carbon
\nfibre aero disks to be mounted for less flex
\nand a more direct steering feel.
\n\u2022Uprights
\nDurable medium type composite uprights, which
\nseat the wheel-axles bearings. The upright
\noffers the mounting position for the steel
\ncamber-rod with L\/R threading. Roll centre
\nchanges can be made on top of the upright with
\nshims. The upright can be mounted with the
\noptional carbon fibre aero disks for more rear
\ngrip and straight line stability.
\n\u2022Wheel axles and driveshaft
\nThe durable spring steel wheel axles combined
\nwith spring steel driveshafts bring the power
\nto the wheels. Wheels are fitted on high grade
\nanodised alu wheel-hex adaptors and secured
\nwith flanged wheel nuts.
\n\u2022Pullies
\nPrecision moulded super-true pullies, which
\nfeature holed sidewalls to let debris move out
\neasier. Light and durabele.
\n\u2022Belts
\nLow friction Kevlar reinforced belts with fine
\npitch. Longlasting and smooth.
\n\u2022Belt-tensioner
\nBall raced belt-tensioner, machined from
\naluminium and can mount on top or below the
\ntopdeck.
\n\u2022Decals
\nThe 750 includes one sheet with Serpent
\ngeneric logos and one with 750 logos. Decals
\nare very thin material and come pre-cut.<\/p>\n
