Einen dreifachen Erfolg feiert Xray beim Saisonauftakt der KMRC Summer Series in England. Am Ende war es David Shedd mit seinem XRAY XB8’21<\/a> vor Erik Lykke und Holger Lykke siegreich war.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, we raced at KMRC Summer Series Rd 1 at the Kent track which is around an hour from London.
\nAfter not having been used for a while during lockdown, the club had put in an effort to get the track prepared and ready for racing!
\nThe track is rather technical with a hard dirt surface but a thin layer of dust quickly appeared and we had to test a range of super soft small pin tyres.
\nErik had his first drive with the new XRAY XB8’21 and we were pleased to see the car handling well.
\nNitro and electric buggies are competing against each other at KMRC which gave an extra dimension to the race. Erik qualified 2nd while David Shedd took the TQ.<\/p>\n

The A-final proved to be an exciting battle with Erik and David swapping the lead position.
\nHowever, a few too many mistakes meant that David Shedd took the win. Meanwhile, Holger managed to climb up through the ranks during the 20 minute final and ended on a 3rd place.
\nBoth kids were pleased with their first nitro buggy podiums.<\/p>\n
