Hier der Bericht von Luke Lee:<\/strong><\/p>\n Round 1 of the 2022 F1 nationals is done, and it couldn\u2019t have stayed better, taking TQ and win. After spending Saturday testing we had a car that felt very good and fast ready for the racing on Sunday. The new format is 3 qualifying rounds and 3 finals, meaning only 1 round of qualifying can be dropped, making every round important. I managed to set the fastest time in every round of qualifying, putting me on pole position for the 3 leg finals.<\/p>\n Leg 1 of the finals went exactly to plan, I managed to get away well and extend a lead the everyone behind, taking the win by almost half a lap<\/p>\n Leg 2 the car didn\u2019t feel as good on the warm up lap and I felt I was struggling for steering, so off the start I had to defend immediately and try and get the front tyres working, unfortunately I took a curb too much and flipped the car, losing about 8 seconds. Fortunately a lap after, the car got some steering again and I could push to catch back up, taking about 0.5 seconds out of the gap to the leader every lap, and on the final corner of the final lap I managed to squeeze my way past, winning by just 0.03 seconds!<\/p>\n Leg 3 fortunately wasn\u2019t as eventful as leg 2, a mistake by 2nd place off the line meant I had an easy race, winning by almost a whole lap<\/p>\n Overall a great days racing and a good result to start the season<\/p>\n Formula results:<\/u><\/p>\n Many thanks as always to everyone who supports me in my racing XRAY HUDY Hobbywing Nosram Big G Racing MoodyFools RC Disco Racecraft R\/C<\/p>\n\n
