The RPM<\/em><\/strong> Front Skid Plate for the Associated Rival MT8 is designed to improve durability and help protect the exposed aluminum chassis. We designed our version of the skid plate by extending it rearward. That extra section covers more of the chassis, protecting it from harmful rocks and debris. The lengthened skid plate is now supported by the rear gearbox screws. We\u2019ve also eliminated the front M3 x 14mm button-head screw as integral to the skid plate design. Eliminating that screw allowed us to change the shape of the skid plate for additional durability.<\/p>\n As an added bonus, we incorporated three low-friction skid rails. These rails make transitions over tall obstacles easier and less likely to stop you in your tracks. They also help increase the strength and wear resistance of the skid plate.<\/p>\n Each RPM<\/em><\/strong> Front Skid Plate for the Associated Rival MT8 is molded in black from our exclusive blend of engineering grade nylons for unmatched strength and durability.
