<\/a><\/p>\nVorne beginnt es mit einem neuen Design und der \u00fcberarbeiteten \u00a0Doppelquerlenker-Aufh\u00e4ngung, was einige Neuerung an der Vorderachse des YRX12 sind. Die Einstellm\u00f6glichkeiten von Spur, Sturz, Nachlauf und Roll-Center sind geblieben.<\/p>\n
Die K\u00e4ufer\u00a0des YRX12 haben die M\u00f6glichkeit der Servoanlenkung zwischen direkter oder die Anlenkung mit Umlenkhebel im Fahrzeug zu montieren. Daf\u00fcr liegen die Teile im Baukasten bei.<\/p>\n Das Chassis besteht aus neuem Kohlefaser-Material, um die Steifigkeit zu erh\u00f6hen. Der Radstand wurde um 4 mm zum R12 verl\u00e4ngert, was das Fahrzeug bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten ruhiger zu fahren l\u00e4sst.<\/p>\n Die beiden Tubes wurden verbessert, um das Fahrzeug in den Kurven stabiler zu machen, wie auch die Side-Links.<\/p>\n Die Motor- und Hinterachshalterung wurden optimiert f\u00fcr eine bessere Gewichtsverteilung und gute Zug\u00e4nglichkeit f\u00fcr den Wechsel des Motors.<\/p>\n Die hintere Felge ist im Durchmesser um 0,7 mm verkleinert worden, w\u00e4hrend das Vorderrad im Durchmesser um 0,3 mm gr\u00f6\u00dfer gewachsen ist.<\/p>\n Team Yokomo konnte bereits erste erfolge mit dem Prototypen feiern:<\/p>\n he YRX12 features an all-new front suspension design. The double wishbone suspension used on previous Yokomo 1\/12 chassis\u2019 has been revised to improve high speed cornering as well as ease of set up and maintenance and the new pushrod design has been developed to provide better cornering stability. Adjustable roll centre and track width settings remain for fine tuning of handling balance, whilst the previously used anti-roll bar has been removed to simplify the system and reduce weight. A sliding upper bulkhead arrangement makes adjustments to the caster angle easy, whilst the bulkheads and pivot balls can be spaced up or down to introduce reactive castor to the system and fine tune the roll centre.<\/p>\n Users of the YRX12 will be able to choose between direct or bell crank steering arrangements, with servo mounting hardware included in the kit for both options.<\/p>\n The main chassis features new carbon fibre material and its shape has been designed to increase stiffness. A wheelbase increase of 4mm over the previous R12 model should also contribute to high speed stability, whilst a bigger bore centre damper improves rear grip with optional length settings to further tune handling balance.<\/p>\n Big bore side dampers are supplied to provide more consistent damping, improved stability throughout cornering and with the ability to run for longer between rebuilds.<\/p>\n An all-new centre pivot housing features a slotted design to eliminate binding in the rear suspension and longer side links provide more grip and smoother roll transition.<\/p>\n The YRX12 also features a new rear pod design with lowered bulkheads and motor mount offset for perfect lateral weight distribution. The open design also makes motor access quick and easy.<\/p>\n New rear wheels feature a more conventional 2.5mm offset to permit use on other manufacturers\u2019 cars and subsequently other manufacturers wheels can also be used on the YRX12.
