Jan Ratheisky / T4 siegreich beim AOC R1 in China

Race report by Jan Rathiesky

Last weekend Tom and I travelled to Shanghai for the Round 1 of the Asion Onroad Series (AOC).

As we ran on ETS carpet we was allready on pace with our basic setups and we invest a bit more time in our power settings for the race. Its a little bit more difficult as in Europe because we mostley ran spec handout or just a „checked“ list. There you need also to set a KV limit and it exists a amp limit if I remember clear 😉

However back to the race. As I said before in practice the cars feels very great wich results that I could TQ in boosted and blinki. Close behind me was my teammate Dr Tom. In F1 I could not follow Toto because however my front tires just burn dirt on it and I dont find a way to avoid that. So I was on pace for 1min and after that I drop because of not traction in fron. Anyway I was able to set the 2nd fastest time in the rocked round system.

The Finals are very easy to write this time. Both in blinki and boosted class I had a lot of good fights with Dr Tom for the leade with some very crazy lapping fun 😉 In the end I won in front of Tom. Well done ^^

In F1 all works same like in the quallies. In the first minute I was a tiny bit faster as Toto and was some time allready side by side. As this guy is very good I found no way throw and after a couple of laps my tires went again very bad and I was not able to follow. Finished 2nd.

I want to send a big thanks to the RCIV2 crew and specially to Rick Wang ! Thanks once again. I guess all of us had a wunderfull time and we would be very happy to come back !
