Die italienische Firma Capricorn RC hat heute ein erstes Teaserbild des kommenden C04 1: 10th Nitro On Road Kits gezeigt. Das Nachfolgemodell der erfolgreichen C03-Plattform wird viele neue Upgrades enthalten. Ein komplett neues 7075-Aluminium-Chassis mit verschiebbaren Gewichten unter dem Kraftstofftank. Die Heckgeometrie kann vielseitig geändert werden, da die unteren Querlenker in verstellbaren Einsätzen für bis zu 12 verschiedene Positionen montiert sind. Neuer Tank, neues Oberdeck, einstellbaren Flex für vorne, neue Lenkhebel sind einige Features des Fahrzeuges. Ende März ist als Liefertermin genannt.

„Italian company Capricorn RC have announced the soon to be released C04 1:10th nitro on road kit. The follow up model from their greatly successful C03 platform will feature many new upgrades. A all new 7075 aluminium chassis which will feature moveable weights under the fuel tank for increased weight balance and stability. There will now be the ability to change the rear geometry greatly with the lower arms now mounted in adjustable inserts for up to 12 different positions. Also new for the C04 is the ability to run a rear upper camber linkage instead of a solid arm resulting in more flex for the lower arm, which can greatly improve the cars rear traction in certain conditions. There will also be a new upper deck with a new fuel tank mounted from the top for easy retraction of the tank, the battery will be mounted on the left side of the upper deck for greater weight balance, there will be the option to change the front flex from soft to hard for a greater set up window in different traction conditions. New steering hubs will be another new feature to achieve a greater steering lock. Rear CVD driveshafts will also be available as a option for the new kit. The availability of the new platform will be late March.“
