Die nun kommende Yokomo YZ-2 Dirt Edition (DT) hat ein neues 3-Gang-Getriebe mit einige neue Teile, um den Anforderungen für diese Konfiguration im „Dirt-Bereich“ gerecht zu werden. Das Getriebe ist natürlich staubgeschützt und im Gegensatz zur Carpet-Edition mussten für die Dirt Edition noch mehr Teile neu entwickelt werden.
