Am 7.Juni 2020 war es soweit. Beim ersten Club-Rennen in diesem Jahr auf der Strecke des SMRC in Wien / Österreich konnte Antonia Kovalszki einen Doppelsieg feiern. Neben dem Sieg war wichtig, dass es endlich mit Rennen fahren wieder losging.

Race Report by Antonia Kovalszki
On Sunday, 7th of June, the first clubrace of the year was held at the SMRC track in Vienna, Austria.
We drove 3 qualies which lasted 6 minutes in each class. Due to Covid-19 there were only groups of 6 people, which made the qualies even more exciting. In the 4WD class it was me, Antonia Kovalszki who set the TQ in front of Niklas Wieser and Elmar Watzdorf. After winning all three finals I could convert the TQ into a win. After great battles for the 2nd place, it was Elmar Watzdorf who came in 2nd and Rene Müller 3rd.
With 2WD Martin Fischer qualified 1st, I 2nd and Hannes Mayer 3rd. Martin and I had some nice fights and lots of overtaking in all three 8 Minute finals. After winning A1 and A2 I could secure the win with 2WD as well. Martin finished 2nd in front of 3rd placed Niklas Wieser.
