Race report by Marcel Dostal

The 22’nd round of traditional 12-hours endurance race in Blansko, Czech Republic is in the books.

All models participating this race were always 2WD, but we this time decided to change it to 4WD.

Despite having all year to prepare, the decision to make the race was made 3 days before the race started. So, build a new care and make it ready for 12hours race was quite a challenge. Yes, it was a huge risk and nobody believed (including me to be honest). At least, we could make a longest test of qualities and wear rate of XRAY T4. 12 hours of racing in a row equals to around 24 races – which can be between one and two years of racing without any service of the car.

So, what was the outcome?  We won the race
We were using XRAY T4’21 Carbon edition from XRAYstore. By the way there is still some oil in both shocks and diff.

The only problem we had was related to battery contact. The pace was extremely fast with best lap 12.4 (by Jiri Vysin) and new record of total laps – 3049 laps.

Even for such a difficult race you can use your T4 made by Martin Hudy. Nothing broke and the car was completely fine during the whole race. Nobody really believed our idea, they even made some bets of what breaks first…but nothing broke.

Thank to whole team: Jiri Vysin, Michal Blahovsky, Kuba Simurda. See you next year.
