Hier der Report by Bruno Coelho dazu:
Over the weekend, the Montpellier club held the 1/8 Off Road ECO Montpellier GP in France. It was the first time they organized this race, as they usually run the famous 1/8 OFF Road Nitro race every February. The club did a great job organizing the event, giving us plenty of time to prepare our cars. Our new XRAY XB8’23 car performed well on the surface with medium/low grip.
During the qualification round, I faced some problems with my car’s electronics and missed out on two rounds where I was fighting for the lead. So, I had to start in 9th position for the finals, which made it hard to get on the podium. But my car was fast, and I tried to drive consistently without making mistakes. It worked, and I finished 3rd twice and won the 1st place in the last final, ending up in 3rd place overall. I was happy with the result considering I started from a low position.
Finally, I want to congratulate my teammate Remy Bermudez for getting the TQ and Win, which he deserved.
