Christmas Cup 2018

Zum sechsten Mal fand der Weihnachtscup 2018 vom 13. bis 14. Januar in Kiew in der Ukraine, auf einer temporären Teppichstrecke in dem Karavan Megastores statt. Das Karavan Megastores gehört zu einem der größten Einkaufszentren der Stadt der Stadt, in dem das Rennen mit knapp 100 Teilnehmern stattfand.

SWORKz’s Jörg Miikael Tiit konnte in den Klassen 2 und 4WD einen Doppelsieg feirn. Mehr n der englischen Version.

Christmas Cup 2018

For the sixth time, Christmas Cup 2018 took place in Kiev, Ukraine on 13th to 14th of January on a temporary carpet track in Karavan Megastores. The race was held in one of the largest shopping centers in the city, therefore a great crowd for close to 100 entries over 2 main and 2 support classes was present.

1:10 2WD modified buggy class was run on the first day. On the challenging but very nicely flowing track, 4 rounds of qualifiers were held with SWORKz’s Jörg Miikael Tiit taking the Top Qualifier spot, followed by Team Associated duo of Maryan Beresh and Dmitro Chub. In the finals, Jörg made use of his TQ spot to win the triple A-finals, followed by Dmitro Chub and Andrei Monakhov.

1:10 4WD modified buggy was run on the second day, with again 4 qualification rounds on the unchanged layout. SWORKz’s Jörg Miikael Tiit took the TQ honors for the second time, followed by this time reverse ordered Team Associated two of Dmitro Chub and Maryan Beresh. In the triple A-finals, Jörg utilized his position for once again, to win the 4WD event as well, followed by Associated cars of Maryan Beresh and Vladimir Fedorenko.
