Kiyokazu Suzuki vom TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) Team testete einen Prototyp, den TA07 MS in der offenen Klasse der JMRCA Japanese National Championship 2018 (20.-22. Juli) und war im kontrollierten Training auf Platz 3. Am Ende kam er auf dem 11. Platz ins Ziel. Das Design ist die klassische Variante mit Riemenantrieb, nur im Gegensatz zum TA07R mit „echtem“ Racingchassis als Basis, wie beim TRF-419XS. Das Oberdeck besteht aus zwei „stehenden“ Platten, die für eine sehr starre Verbindung in Längsachse sorgen und seitlich Flex dem Fahrzeug bieten.
