Finlay und Branson sichern sich den Gesamtsieg bei der EWS

Am letzten Wochenende fand das letzte Rennen der EWS statt. Wer in den beiden TW Klassen siegreich war, erfahrt ihr in dem Bericht von Zak Finlay (in Englisch).

This past weekend saw the final round of the Essex Winter Series in the UK. As usual, Team XRAY were in attendance and hoping for good results across both the Modified and Stock classes.

In 13.5 Stock, Zak Finlay was able to continue were he left off at the previous round of the series, and took the TQ position ahead of Ash Wiffen and Marcus Askell in 3rd.
In total there were 6 XRAY X4’s in the 13.5 Stock A-Main – making XRAY the most represented manufacturer in the final!

In the single leg A-Main, Zak was able to pull a small gap and lead from start to finish to take the overall win. Marcus Askell was able to improve his starting position to take 2nd overall.

In Modified, Alexander Hagberg was able to take his XRAY X4 to 2nd place on the grid, whilst Kyle Branson qualified in 3rd and Harley Eldridge qualified in 6th.

The final saw some great action, with Alexander getting close but not quite being able to make the pass for 1st place. Alex finished in 2nd overall, with Kyle running a solid final to finish 3rd overall.

XRAY took the overall win in both Modified and Stock at this series, with Kyle Branson and Zak Finlay both winning their classes.

This race rounded off a successful indoor series for Team XRAY UK, who now move their focuses to the outdoor asphalt racing season.
