Englische Version: The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck proudly sold by TOYOTA in North America. Within its lineup, the TRD Pro stands out as the ultimate off-road grade, carrying the renowned TRD (Toyota Racing Development) name. This model is based on the 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and has been extensively refined with Kyosho’s original wide overfenders, giving it a broader, more aggressive stance. Moreover, custom aerodynamic features enhance both style and performance. Additional highlights include three signature racing stripes and a roll cage mounted in the cargo bed—hallmarks of custom pickup builds that give the Tundra Drift Version its bold, distinctive character. The wheels faithfully replicate the iconic RAYS TE37V, a popular choice across multiple real car categories. The long-span front double wishbone suspension provides ample steering angle, with adjustable caster, roll center, and other geometry settings for fine-tuned control. Furthermore, the high-mount motor position induces moderate roll characteristics, perfect for drift performance. A user-friendly G22 brushed motor comes standard, paired with a gear cover to protect the drivetrain against dirt intrusion. The motor mount eliminates the need for complicated gear mesh adjustments. Gear ratios can be easily changed using the elongated holes to accommodate 48P 16–37T pinion gears. The newly developed KS4072-06W servo ensures precise steering response, working in combination with an advanced gyro unit that delivers optimal counter-steer control. In addition, the model is equipped with the KRG-331D receiver, which incorporates a built-in gyro optimized for drift driving. The gyro moderates both steering and throttle inputs, while gain (sensitivity) can be adjusted via an external dial. The Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) is mounted at the rear for ideal weight distribution during drifting. It is secured in a special tray that can be removed with a single screw, ensuring easy maintenance. The resin main chassis is split into front and rear sections, allowing wheelbase adjustments to fit different bodies. Additionally, the newly designed concealed body mounts eliminate visible posts and pins, preserving the realistic appearance of the highly detailed body. To elevate scale realism, wheel hubs are decorated with dummy brake calipers and discs. The rear drive unit features a rigid spool axle (no differential), enabling smooth and consistent drifting performance. Finally, front and rear light buckets are compatible with the separately sold 97054 LED light unit series, which adds an extra layer of realism when installed.
