AE 13mm Ringer Shock Caps

These caps are designed specifically for use with Avid Ringer Shock Standoffs (Running aluminum on aluminum in a pivot point? Don’t do that). They fit Avid Avant 13mm shocks as well as AE kit and Kashima 13mm shocks. The signature silver Ringer grooves give your AE ride a clean, aggressive look that stands out without trying too hard.

Tips

We include 4 silver washers for the bleeder screws if you’re worried about scratching the caps. That said, we’ve been running these for 6 months without them and haven’t seen scratches or leaks. They’re a bit overkill, and honestly, kind of a pain to deal with.
Also included are our large seal-proof o-rings from the Avant shocks. These won’t squish out when tightening and provide a reliable seal so your shocks stay leak-free. We recommend tightening by hand until the cap is nearly seated against the shock body.
