Alpha new engine, Dragon IV
The new Alpha engine, the Dragon IV, is coming. It is a pre broken-in, 3 port engine designed to the highest specification. The Dragon IV continues with the Dragon III’s benefit of being easy to tune and within 2-4 tanks, be ready to race.
With the new engine, we are able to improve the crankcase, ceramic bearing, DEC crankshaft, piston/sleeve, piston pin, and cooling head.
Crankcase: Less losses and greater fuel efficiency, increase in engine power.
Ceramic Bearings: Reduced friction, lower weight, improved longevity.
DEC Crankshaft: Reduced engine vibration, resistant to wear, with good lubricity.
Piston/Sleeve: Improved fuel efficiency, more power and a more linear power being delivered.
Piston Pin: Improvement to the surface hardness and the durability.
Cooling Head: Improved center of gravity to aide the handling of the car, with good natural cooling effects.
